MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER 

DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE 

 

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Multi-skilled Engineer, you will work full time; 40 hours over five days, Monday to Friday. Typical duties will include:

• Carrying out carpentry, joinery, fabric and general maintenance repairs. 

• Assessing work requirements, identifying materials needed and completing jobs to a high standard. 

• Responding to reactive maintenance issues safely and professionally. 

• Using the CAFM system to progress works and meet agreed timescales.

• Assisting other trades and supporting wider maintenance issues safely and professionally. 

• Responding to reactive maintenance issues safely and professionally. 

• Participating int he call-out and weekend rota, as well as emergency response arrangements as required. 

 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, responsibility and courtesy. You will ideally have the following experience:

• Strong carpentry, joinery or general building maintenance experience. 

• A recognised carpentry / joinery apprenticeship or relevant trade qualification, ideally City & Guilds. 

• Good practical knowledge of domestic and commercial building maintenance. 

• Confidence using hand tools, power tools and carpentry machinery safely. 

• A proactive, reliable approach with pride in completing work to a high standard. 

• The ability to assess, prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently. 

• Flexibility to support wider maintenance duties, including call-out and weekend rota arrangements. 

THE DEPARTMENT

The role is based in the in-house Maintenance department, working alongside eight other staff. The department is responsible for all aspects of maintenance across the Club, including plumbing, electrics, carpentry and general maintenance.
