CLEANING OPERATIVE - CASUAL

DEPARTMENT: CLEANING 

 

THE DEPARTMENT

This role is part of the Cleaning and Waste Department which ensures the Club maintains an exceptionally clean and welcoming environment for members, guests and colleagues.

 

THE ROLE

As a Cleaning Operative, you will work on a casual basis in line with the cleaning roster, which may include morning, evening and weekend shifts. Casual Agreements provide flexibility, with working hours offered in line with operational needs and without fixed hours, giving you the opportunity to pick up shifts that align with your availability.

Typical duties will include:

• Undertaking general cleaning duties in line with the cleaning specification.

• Reporting broken fixtures or fittings to the relevant department to ensure the Club remains in a good state of repair.

• Using equipment and machinery, as provided by the Club, for the fulfilment of duties.

• Carrying out deep cleaning duties and periodic specialised cleaning projects as per the cleaning schedule.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Sound judgement and decision-making skills.

• Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye to detail.

• A positive “can-do” approach and good communication skills.

• COSHH - IOSH working safely or BICSc desirable not essential.
