With four kitchens on-site, The Hurlingham Club caters to members, their guests, and event clients with a rich variety of dining options.
The Main Kitchen – prepares and cooks food for all member/non-member and corporate functions in the Events Suites. It also assists with the food preparation in other outlets, including the Pool Bar and BBQs between May and September. Within the Main Kitchen, there is a dedicated pastry kitchen which prepares and bakes pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for events and Club venues.
The Harness Room Kitchen – offering a relaxed menu exclusively for members and their guests, providing light breakfasts, lunches and a more formal evening offering.
The Polo Bar Kitchen – prepares a light menu and dinner seven days a week.
The Brasserie Kitchen – offering modern British cuisine during lunch and dinner service for members and their guests.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in a prestigious, high-end environment, working with a dynamic and passionate kitchen team under the guidance of a team-oriented, high-standard, and renowned Executive Chef.
Hours
Average of 40 hours per week on a roster basis over five days. Additional hours are compensated with hourly overtime payments.
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, responsibility and courtesy. Candidates should have previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen and a strong desire to enhance their expertise and grow professionally.
