Self-Employed Swimming Instructor

As a self-employed Swimming Instructor at the Club, you will have excellent customer care skills and will be confident teaching both adults and children. Hours of work are varied.

Candidates must have the following:
⦁ A relevant and approved Swimming Instructor Qualification (min. ASA Level 2 or equivalent)

The role will be subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check results, either at a cost of £59 or, if you are subscribed, via the online DBS status check.

Fitness Receptionist

The Fitness team are a large, friendly team responsible for looking after the members and their guests with regards the indoor sports facilities; Racquet and Fitness Centres, Dance Studio, Gym, Indoor Pool, Squash, Treatment room, Crèche as well as the Outdoor Pool in the summer months along with some seasonal outdoor sports activities.

As a member of the team, you will work shifts on a roster basis, including weekend and evening shifts. Overtime is also available. Duties will include answering member’s enquiries and taking their bookings both on the phone and face–to-face. You will ensure the consistent practice of all operating standards and requirements whilst providing the highest level of service to all members and their guests.

Candidates will have proven communication skills, excellent team work skills and experience in a similar environment and role. Candidates will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, experience with cash handling, the ability to work under pressure and be friendly, polite and diplomatic.
