Business Development Manager

The Events Management & Sales team are responsible for selling and managing events at the Club. From meetings and conferences to weddings and awards ceremonies, the Hurlingham Suite is fully adaptable for formal or informal events depending on individual requirements and is available to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner.

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving new business, key account development and proactive sales. You will have the confidence to communicate with stake holders of all levels. Within this role, you will negotiate rates to secure business and be self-motivated to surpass personal and team targets.

The ideal candidate will be a Sales Manager with proven experience within a similar proactive sales role. Experience demonstrating the ability to solicit new business and manage relationships with new and existing clients is essential. Experience within high profile venues and dealing with high profile clients is desirable.

Head of Events

The Events team is responsible for selling and managing the Club’s banqueting suite of which it can cater for up to 800 guests, working with members for private events and external clients for large non-member events.

As the Head of Events you will lead a team of eight, and be responsible for the selling, booking, planning and delivering of events at the Club. You will have extensive sales and event management experience in a five star hospitality venue, a proven track record in a proactive sales role, experience of delivering and exceeding budgets and previous involvement in managing people.

Senior events management experience is essential and candidates must be IT literate with the ability to create and deliver a sales and events strategy at the Club.
