Food & Beverage Assistant

The Food & Beverage Operations team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of events in its East Wing. For its members, the Club boasts a busy brasserie style restaurant, a fine dining restaurant and a bar. With regards to events, from meetings and conferences, to weddings and awards ceremonies, the Hurlingham Suite is fully adaptable for formal or informal events, depending on individual requirements and is available to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner.

As an F&B Assistant, you will greet and seat members and their guests in a friendly, efficient manner and remain courteous at all times during service. Duties include taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables and polishing crockery, glass and cutlery. You will have full knowledge of beverage lists and menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods, and be able to assist with any special requests or allergy requirements. You will work shifts on a roster basis, including weekend and evening shifts.

Candidates should have previous experience within a fine dining establishment and a passion for working within hospitality.


Commis Chef

The Club has a large brigade of chefs within the Food & Beverage department, working across three kitchens.

You will have opportunity to learn and develop your skills and career in a high end, prestigious environment.

This role is offered on a full time, roster basis, which will include regular evening and weekend work.

Candidates should have some relevant experience and be keen to advance their skills and knowledge under an inspirational Executive Head Chef. This is a great opportunity for a new chef to start their career in a professional kitchen.


Food & Beverage Purchasing and Cost Controller

The Food & Beverage Commercial department is a team of five, responsible for the Club’s food and beverage purchasing and associated control procedures. The department manages the stock control, purchasing and EPOS systems within the F&B function. They also work closely with the kitchen team to ensure menus are costed effectively and allergens are reported accurately. The team are also responsible for the food and beverage purchase ledger up to the point of payment. The department produces sales analysis and flash reports as and when required. As the Food & Beverage Purchasing & Stock Controller, you will work on a permanent, full time basis as a core member of the F&B team.

Candidates should be IT literate with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask with accuracy across a number of concurrent duties and projects. Candidates must have prior experience within a kitchen/food and beverage environment. Previous experience with a stock control system is desirable but not essential.
