Event Sales Manager – Proactive
Job Description:Bordering the Thames in Fulham and set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds, The Hurlingham Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain’s greatest private members’ clubs, it retains its quintessentially English traditions and heritage.
The Events Management & Sales team are responsible for selling and managing events at the Club. From meetings and conferences to weddings and awards ceremonies, the Hurlingham Suite is fully adaptable for formal or informal events depending on individual requirements and is available to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner.
As the Events Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving new business, key account development and proactive sales. You will have the confidence to communicate with stake holders of all levels. Within this role, you will negotiate rates to secure business and be self-motivated to surpass personal and team targets.
The ideal candidate will be a Sales Manager with proven experience within a similar proactive sales role. Experience demonstrating the ability to solicit new business and manage relationships with new and existing clients is essential. Experience within high profile venues and dealing with high profile clients is desirable.
