Reciprocal Clubs

Members of reciprocal clubs may visit the Hurlingham 14 times in any one calendar year.

On entry to the Club, at the gatehouse, visitors:

  • Will need to produce their own Club's dated membership card or a letter of introduction
  • May also be asked to provide two additional forms of photo identification
  • Will need to sign in, including the names of any accompanying guests

All visitors may:

  • Use the various eateries
  • Attend special Club events, on payment of the relevant fee (where ticket sales are not restricted to members only)
  • Book private events (but do not qualify for members’ prices)

Overseas visitors may:

  • Use the sports facilities, with the exception of the gym

There is no entrance fee, however all visitors must pay the relevant guest fees, per session, as follows:

Please note:

  • With the exception of the outdoor and indoor swimming pools, grass tennis courts and the multi-sport guest fees, charges for guests under 18 will be half the above-mentioned rates
  • Weekends include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
  • The fees quoted above are per guest, per session

Rules

Changes to Reciprocal Agreements - May 2011

All visitors must comply with the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Club and are asked to take note of Bye-Law 12 which states:

  • Visiting members of reciprocal clubs are temporary members and are bound by the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Club
  • A member of a reciprocal club may use the Club for up to 14 days in any one calendar year
  • A member of a reciprocal club may not be signed in as a guest under Bye-Law 5 by a member of a reciprocal club
  • A member of a reciprocal club may bring guests to the Club under the same conditions as members' guests
  • On each occasion before use of the Club, a member of a reciprocal club must show current proof of their membership of the relative reciprocal club. They must sign in the book provided at the gatehouse and include the names of any accompanying guests
  • The Committee may declare a member of a reciprocal club "persona non grata"
  • Members of British reciprocal clubs may not use the sports facilities other than as a guest of a member
  • Members of foreign reciprocal clubs and their guests may use the sports facilities on payment of the relevant fee determined by the Committee
