Duplicate Bridge Sessions

Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate sessions will continue throughout the summer.

The Thursday Morning Supervised Duplicate, with Bernard, will re-commence on Thursday 16 September. All improvers and next-steppers are encouraged to come to these informal and fun sessions.

The Monday Evening Duplicate sessions will also start again on Monday 27 September, with Bernard as Tournament Director.

Rubber Bridge Sessions

The Rubber Bridge sessions on Monday and Thursday afternoons will commence at 2pm from now on.

Please encourage friends and guests to come to the mid-week, and weekend, Rubber sessions.

Teaching

• Heather Dhondy’s Tuesday Workshops will begin again in the autumn
• Heather will also be holding a One-Day Advanced Duplicate session later in the year
• Ned Paul will be holding his Beginners’ Bridge Weekend in October
• Charlie Hunter will be doing the “Next Step” course

All dates and details will be announced in due course.

Duplicate Tip of the Month

As declarer, try to specify the card you want to be played, ie “The 9 of Spades”.
