Employment Policy

The Club strives to maintain and enhance its excellence in providing members, their families and guests with first class social and sporting facilities in an elegant and congenial environment. This is achieved through courtesy, elegance, integrity and prudence. Staff play a central role in achieving these aspirations and we aim to employ highly motivated people and respect their contribution.

Investor in People

The Club is proud to be recognised as an Investor in People and is committed to managing and developing all our staff to the highest standard. Learning and development is encouraged in all areas and is underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement. We expect and support the highest standards of performance across the Club.

Diversity

IIt is the Club’s policy to treat applicants and employees in the same way, regardless of sex, gender reassignment status, marital status, civil partnership status, pregnancy, colour, race, nationality, national origins, ethnic origins, religion or belief, religious practices, sexual orientation, disability or age. All staff have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and no form of bullying or harassment is tolerated at any time.

Health and Safety

The Club recognises its responsibility for maintaining safe and healthy working conditions, for providing equipment, training, instruction and information to enable staff to perform their work safely, and for ensuring continuation of interest in health and safety through good management and employee consultation.

Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults

It is the Club’s aim to provide high quality children’s activities which are challenging, safe and good fun. The Club is committed to its duty of care to safeguard from harm all children involved in activities in its control. All children have a right to protection, and the needs of disabled children and others who may be particularly vulnerable are taken into account.
